Education Qualification
Candidate must possess degrees of Graduation and Bachelor of Library Science from any university established by Law in India or equivalent examination from any university recognized by the Government.
Eligibility Criteria
- No male or female candidate, who has more than one wife/husband living shall be eligible for appointment to the Service.
- No female candidate, who is married to a person having already a wife living, shall be eligible for appointment.
- No married candidate shall be eligible for appointment to the service if he/she had at the time of his/her marriage accepted any dowry.
- Note: – For the purpose of this rule dowry has the same meaning as in the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 (Central Act 28 of 1961).
- No candidate shall be eligible for appointment, if he has more than two children on/or after the date of commencement of Rules of 2002.
Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be complete through The Written Examination.
Written Exam
- There shall be Multiple Choice Questions (Objective type) carrying equal marks for each question.
- There will be no negative marking.
- The selection will be made on the basis of merit as per marks obtained in the Written Examination.
